Ecommerce website management

The control panel for your website, (this can also be termed an 'Admin Area', 'CMS' or 'Back Office') can be accessed by typing in http://www.yourURL.co.uk/admin. Here you will be asked to enter your password and username, which is issued to you during the 'Go-Live' procedure.

From here you can view and access your website following any changes being made by clicking the "Return to Site" tab in the top right-hand corner of the page. Or alternatively, you could open a separate browser window or tab to view your website and see the changes that are being made in real time by clicking the "Refresh" button in the toolbar of your internet browser every time an alteration is made, (alternatively to perform a "refresh" you can press "F5" on your keyboard).

You can navigate your way around your admin area using the menu that runs down the left hand side of each page, or the control panel found on the initial admin page.

Throughout your admin area, you will find an easy to use page editing facility; we term this a "Content Editor". This facility allows you to input and edit information on any page of your site.

Within your ecommerce system you will find the FCK Editor Content Editor to change page information.
