What is Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO)?
The art of creating the correct environment, converting website "hit", to website customer. Effective website marketing isn't just about generating lots of visitors, but it must also factor what happens when they reach your site. How good is your site at turning that click into a lead or sale? Your site can be entertaining and informative but if it isn't converting visitors into customers where is your return on investment? Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) does not involve increasing the level of traffic to the site, but aims to turn more of the traffic already visiting your site into a lead or a sale. Conversion Rate Optimisation - So what's involved?Design and Usability Studies - Once your site has undergone search engine optimisation (SEO) and social media optimisation (SMO) you can be left with a well optimised site with lots of traffic, but still receive little business due to poor conversion rates. Here at Quantum, our Human Computer Interface (HCI) specialists will conduct a range of experiments, testing your website's usability and highlight problems that might prevent a sale. Primary HCI Analysis This analysis is carried out by a member of the Development team. In cases where problems are spotted, suggested solutions are given. We will then deliver you a document comprising of about 20 pages, (the document includes images of how the site should be changed to make it more usable). Enhanced HCI Analysis The enhanced HCI analysis is carried out by recording users live whilst they are using the site, finding out what they are thinking, and seeing where they get stuck. This extensive study comprises of a 30 page document stipulating the solutions to problems found, and the video recording of the study.
